The goal of the MTA is to promote the sport of trapshooing throughout the State of Michigan, nationally, and internationally in accordance with the rules of the ATA. The MTA also wants to promote, train, and encourage shooters of all ages to respect and observe the safe handling of sporting and hunting firearms, including ammunition. The MTA welcomes all shooters; Men, Women, Youth, Chair-shooters.
