The USA High School Clay Target League National Championship returns in 2026, bringing together the top high school clay target athletes from across the country for five days of elite competition, sportsmanship, and national recognition.
This championship represents the culmination of the USA High School Clay Target League season, where qualified athletes and teams compete on the national stage in one of the largest youth shooting sports events in the United States. Thousands of student-athletes, coaches, families, and supporters will gather to celebrate the discipline, focus, and dedication that define high school clay target shooting.
The event features team and individual competition, culminating in championship finals that crown national champions and showcase the very best young shooters in the sport. From first-class facilities to a professionally run schedule, the National Championship delivers a competitive experience that reflects the values and standards the sport has been built on for generations.

Camping
Camping for the Clay Target High School State Shoot is full. There should be cancellations as we get closer to registration opening, so please check our website for open sites. There is no waiting list.

On-Site Reminders
- Golf cart/UTV registration and insurance is required. Forms are available when you get here. Must be over 18 to operate a golf cart or UTV on the MTA grounds.
- Tents must be 10' back from the edge of the sidewalk. No stakes or screw-in anchors allowed.
- No parking on the trapline. Vehicles must be in designated parking areas.
