Timberdoodle Side-by-Side Classic and Game Fair

A two day side-by-side tournament and game fair at the MTA Home Grounds. 110 targets across sporting clays, 5-Stand and Helice, plus free family activities.

The Timberdoodle Side-by-Side Classic and Game Fair is a two day side-by-side tournament paired with a game fair open to the whole community. The tournament is 110 targets across three disciplines. Everything else at the Game Fair is free to all.
The tournament
Saturday is 75 sporting clays targets across 15 stations. Helice is open for practice in the afternoon once the sporting clays competition finishes. Sunday is 25 5-Stand targets and 10 Helice targets, shot as a single crank of ten from the 26 meter position with a one ounce maximum load.
Entry is $90.00 and covers all 110 targets. The field is capped at 75 shooters for this first year, so pre-registration is worth doing early. Shooters provide their own gun and ammunition.
Registration
Pre-register for the tournament
Entry is paid at the grounds on the day. The organizer will be in touch with your flight time before the shoot.
Come and try trap shooting
Free to anyone in the community or the surrounding area. All equipment is provided, including shotgun, ammunition, and eye and ear protection, with experienced instructors on hand. Open to adults and youth. No booking needed.
At the Game Fair
The Game Fair opens at 9:00am and the tournament begins at 10:00am.

Awards
Awards go to the top Man, Lady, Junior (14 to 17), Sub-Junior (13 and under) and Veteran (65 and over). Random door prizes are drawn for participants.
